Brubaker’s Pub 10th Annual Pig Roast!

Plans are in full swing for Brubaker’s Pub 10th Annual Pig Roast on Sunday, September 28th. All Brubaker’s Browns Backers in northeast Ohio are invited to be our guests for an afternoon of fun as the Browns play, their in-state rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals. V.P. Pam Mihalik, Area Supervisor Jeff Mollica, and G.M. Scott Brownlee are working hard to plan the best Roast ever. Tailgating will begin around noon followed by a great day of fun, food, football and prizes.

Our Pig Roast is an annual event. Brubakerites from all locations gather to share in some gridiron camaraderie. Traditionally the Pig Roast is thrown to celebrate one of the greatest rivalries in football, Browns vs. Steelers. This year the NFL’s schedule did not cooperate, but so what?! We can play with the best of them. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
No matter how good the game is, our half time show should be the highlight reel. SJB has cool prizes for the winners of the infamous Touchdown Dance and nippy Frozen T-shirt Contest. In addition we’ll play Corn Hole, Flip cup and a variety of other games.

Along with a scrumptious dinner of pulled pork, potatoes and salad, everyone who buys a $15 ticket for the Pig Roast will have two chances to win two club seats for the Nov. 6th game Browns vs. Denver Broncos at 8:15 p.m. In addition we’ll have assorted Browns and/or Buckeye paraphenalia to raffle off to ticket holders.

All co-workers who come to the event will receive hot Brubaker’s Pub Pig Roast T-Shirts. If a customer wishes to buy a T-shirt they can get one for $10.

Monday Night Madness at Brubaker’s Pubs
The first two weeks of Monday Night Football are in the book. Green Bay, Denver (2 games on the first week), Dallas and Brubaker’s Pubs all posted wins. The House of La Rose continues to support our events as Brubaker’s Pubs features Mich Light or Bud Light.

Monday Night Madness: get a card; get a punch watch Monday Night Football!! At the end of the season, Brubaker’s will throw a party to raffle off prizes and hundreds of dollars in Visa Gift Certificates. One entry for every punch on the customers’ cards. This means a customer that comes every week will have sixteen chances to win while a customer who comes only one Monday will have only one chance to win. The store that posts the highest sales growth over 2007 Mondays will host the end of the season party.

Mondays have gone crazy. Pure madness!! House of LaRose is promoting a rotating football toss competition for all of you all corn-hole experts.

Bartending Tips
Brubaker’s Pubs strive to provide friendly, fast service to all customers including those seated at tables. If a customer has to come to the bar to order food or beverages, the table server has not done his job. This includes customers who are playing pool.

When there are three people on duty, almost always the gates should be up and a server should be working the tables using a waitress bank. This server should be greeting all customers and acting as a floor host. All servers are important to our operation, but, the most important is the table server who first greets the new customers. Our best, most friendly server should be chosen to work the tables. First impressions last. As an added bonus, the table server should not be expected to clean the kitchen at closing.

Happy Birthday
